Terms of Service

These terms cover use of the #Tagalong website and the marketplace connecting companies with independent creators for event coverage. By submitting a request or application, you agree to these terms.

What #Tagalong is

#Tagalong is a marketplace. We help companies find and book independent creators for events, conferences, and business trips. Creators are independent contractors, not employees of #Tagalong. We are not a party to the actual work performed at your event — that agreement is between the company and the creator.

For companies

• Submitting a request does not guarantee a match — availability depends on the event, market, and creator schedules.
• Bookings may require a deposit before a creator is confirmed.
• You're responsible for any access you grant a creator (such as social media account access for the Post package) and for revoking it after the engagement ends.

For creators

• Applying does not guarantee approval. We review portfolios before a first booking.
• You're responsible for the quality and legality of content you produce, and for honoring any access a company grants you.
• Ratings and reviews from completed bookings may be shown publicly on your profile.

Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. #Tagalong does not store your full payment card details. Payment is collected in full at the time you submit a request.

Refunds & cancellations

• If we can't confirm a vetted creator for your event, you'll receive a full refund, processed within 5 business days of us notifying you.
• If a confirmed creator doesn't show up, you'll receive a full refund.
• If you need to cancel after a creator is confirmed: full refund if cancelled more than 72 hours before the event, 50% refund between 24–72 hours before, no refund inside 24 hours of the event.
• If you're not satisfied with delivered content, contact us directly — we'll work with you on a case-by-case basis.

Limitation of liability

#Tagalong facilitates introductions between companies and creators but is not responsible for the quality of work performed, content produced, or any dispute arising between a company and a creator. Use of this site is at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll post the updated version here.
